Project Highlight: Reinforcing the Backbone of the Pecos

Cascade Drilling

At the historic Red Bluff Reservoir Dam in West Texas, Cascade was called in to support a full-scale foundation rehabilitation project designed to stop seepage and preserve critical water infrastructure. Working in a sensitive earthen embankment, our team deployed a low-impact sonic drilling solution to install Multi-Port Sleeve Pipes (MPSPs) to bedrock—enabling safe, precise grouting in variable subsurface conditions.

  • Multiple sonic drilling rigs deployed to install MPSPs at depths exceeding 110 feet with zero safety incidents
  • TruSonic™ system selected for its dry drilling capabilities and reliable performance across soil-like zones, caprock, and bedrock
  • One of the largest grout curtain projects Cascade has supported, reinforcing our leadership in dam foundation work
