Mark J. Biermaier has been with Cascade since 1993 and brings more than 34 years of industry experience to his role as Senior Driller. Known for his steady leadership and versatile skill set, Mark has been instrumental in training new drillers and ensuring successful operations on sites across the country.
Throughout his career, Mark has worked with a wide range of drilling technologies, including full-size and mini sonic rigs, mud rotary, air rotary, and the Barber rig. His technical expertise and calm under pressure make him a dependable presence on complex and fast-moving job sites.
Mark’s journey from pump work to driller assistant to his current role reflects his commitment to learning and leading by example. Whether he's operating equipment or mentoring new hires on safe and effective drilling practices, Mark is always focused on building up the team around him.
When he’s not in the field, Mark enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, gardening, and working on the farm—living the same grounded values he brings to every project.
